VSAT Installation at the CKC

Communities in Marigat Division, Baringo District have a reason to smile after an installation of VSAT in the Community Knowledge Center.The exercise was carried out by students from Michigan university's IMAGINE AFRICA program in collaboration with ALIN and Kenya Data networks team.The communities can now enjoy reliable internet services at the CKC which was established by Arid Lands Information Network.

Marigat Community knowledge center offers Computer training to the community.The move is aimed at equiping the communities with the skills to achieve the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs)
The skills will also pave way for job opportunities and enterprenuership.
